Ballater Highland Games
The Ballater Highland Games have been taking place for over 140 years, with the first of the Games being held in 1864.
Many famous athletes and legendary champions have competed at Ballater.
Events at the Ballater Highland Games include Running, Glenfiddich Heavy Events Championship, Solo Piping, Light Field, and Highland Dance. Trade stands will be open throughout the day. To complete the day, beat the Retreat by the Pipe Bands is planned for 7pm on the Church Green in Ballater.
